Nokia Lumia 900 introduced for AT&T’s 4G LTE network
Yesterday the Nokia Lumia 900 was announced at the CES 2012. According to the press release, it's first of Nokia's Windows Phone-based range to feature high-speed LTE connectivity, suggesting that more LTE phones are coming from Nokia. It's coming exclusively to AT&T in the coming months in cyan and matte black. There was no word on the pricing and the availability of Nokia Lumia 900 for Europe and rest of the world.
The main differences of Nokia Lumia 900 compared to Lumia 800 are the 4.3" AMOLED ClearBlack Display, front facing camera, 1830 mAH battery and, of course, the 4G LTE network support. The design of Nokia Lumia 900 is very similar to the Lumia 800 and Nokia N9. The only difference seems to be the size, due the larger display of Lumia 900.
As for the content, there doesn't seem to be any major differences between the just announced Nokia Lumia 900 and the existing Lumia 800 and Lumia 710. However, video calling right out of the box was mentioned, but I haven't been able to find out more about it yet. I do presume that Skype is not out yet for Windows Phone. Another interesting detail was the Univision App. This will bring exclusive Spanish-language content to Lumia 900. I think this is a rather clever move, since sometimes I feel that there are more people who speak Spanish than English in U.S. and even more so in North America.

Windows Phone SDK vs. Qt SDK - Initial impressions
.gif)

When I first saw the news about Nokia switching to Windows Phone back in February 11th, 2011, one of my toper most concern was the future of Qt framework. In my mind the only way this radical change from Nokia could make some sense if Qt support would come to Windows Phone. Apparently I wasn't the only one to think so, as there was a rather "lively" conversation in different forums where Qt developers demanded Qt support for Windows Phone. Alas, it become soon clear this was not going to happen. But was it really alas?

The upgrade to the full version of Countdown Timer for Nokia N9 should work now, but if you have any issues, please let me know.

Sports Tracker for Nokia N9 Review
![]()
I've been using Sports Tracker for quite a few years now and I can honestly say that without it, my physical health would be much worse than it is. It's the app which gives me motivation needed to exercise. Since I hate exercising with a passion, I really do need a lot of motivation to get out from my comfy bed and use some of those dormant muscles I possess. Sport Tracker allows me to do more than just sweat and stink. It gives me actual numbers that mean something instead of just muscle and bone ache. So when I heard about the Nokia N9 version of Sports Tracker, I was naturally quite excited about it. But how does it compare to the more mature Symbian version? Read on to find out.
Countdown Timer 1.1.1 for Nokia N9 available now in Nokia Store

The latest version of Countdown Timer (v.1.1.1) for Nokia N9 and N950 is now available in Nokia Store. The main changed compared to the previous version are an improved countdown animation and added Timer Modes. The improved countdown animation also fixes the animation bugs present in previous versions, like the countdown animation going in a loop when changing the timer too fast.
Countdown Timer 1.1.1 for Nokia N9 and N950 has now six different Timer Modes, of which three are new. The Timer Modes are No dialog, Normal, Select next, Wait, Immediate and Alarm only. The Immediate Timer Mode has been fixed, as it did not behave correctly in the previous versions.
