Nokia Music for Lumia Update

Nokia has just released an update for Nokia Music for Lumia. This update improves Nokia's Gigfinder functionality and adds to the personalization features of the app. With Mix Radio you can create up to five personalised radio stations. By entering up to three artist names, from a selection of 20,000 different artists, the clever technology in the background produces a completely new playlist with songs akin to the style of the artists you chose.
Mix Radio is powered by The Echo Nest. Among its features, is the ability to analyse the metadata attached to your own music files and work out your favourite genres and thus automatically create a playlist of songs which you may most likely find pleasing to listen to.
Gigfinder uses your location and the current date to find the nearest gigs around you. Depending of the availability of the service, you can click through to booking information. The gig details can be shared with others via SMS, email or social networks.
I don't know about you, but I personally am looking forward to try out the Windows Phone version of Nokia Music for Lumia. I especially like the Mix Radio feature, as I'm always seem to be too lazy to do my own playlists, so when exercising I am reduces to listen to the same album all over again, which is really annoying. I always promise myself that for next time I will do an interesting playlist, but alas, I seem to be unable to keep this promise. So yes, I'm hailing the Mix Radio feature of Nokia Music for Lumia as my personal saviour when it comes to music. It better work as promised, though.
