Dropbox Clients for Nokia N9

When talking about cloud storage, one of the most known services is Dropbox. I personally use it quite extensively and having Dropbox client on my smartphone is a must. If you are an owner of a Nokia N9 or N950, you may be pleased to know that not only one, but three Dropbox clients are currently available from Nokia Store, which is one more proof that great apps are indeed available for Nokia N9.
DropN9

DropN9 by metacuong is the first Dropbox client for Nokia N9. The current version of DropN9 in Nokia Store is 0.0.7. It has been updated quite frequently and I must say that the usability has improved quite a lot from the initial version. Feature wise, DropN9 leaves little to be desired. In addition to the usual download and upload of files, it allows you to create folders, rename and delete files and folders, view their properties and move them. Multi download/upload is also supported.
While tapping a folder opens it, to select a file or folder, a long press is needed, which then opens the menu with available options. This might not be the most intuitive way, but once you get used to it, it works quite well. Based on the frequency of past updates, we can expect DropN9, which is already a good Dropbox client, to improve further. You may download DropN9 from Nokia Store and there is more info about it in N9 Apps site.
Dropian

Dropian by knobtviker is now available for Nokia N9 too. If you have used a Symbian smartphone, you may be familiar with it, as it was originally only available for Symbian devices. In fact, I could not find any mention of Nokia N9 in Dropian home page. Only Symbian seems to be mentioned there. But since it is based on Qt framework, porting it to Nokia N9 could not have been too difficult.
As a Dropbox client, Dropian is not bad. The feature list is quite extensive, like in DropN9. Furthermore, it does have some features that are currently missing in DropN9, like thumbnail view and the ability to browse the file system on your Nokia N9 to select the file you want to upload. The UI is of Dropian is fairly intuitive. One thing that I really like is the option to use the Dark Theme, which saves the batter power of the Nokia N9.
But there are two things I don't like in Dropian. The first is the initial login. It took me to Dropbox web site and I had to login there. I feel it is a slow and ugly way of doing this. Then again, you only need to do this once, so it might be that big of a deal. The other thing that I don't like is the speed. Or, should I say, the lack of it. It seems to be quite much slower compared to the other two Dropbox clients. Hopefully these two issues will be corrected in future versions, because otherwise it is a rather good Dropbox client. Dropian is currently available in Nokia Store and you may find more info about it in My-MeeGo.
File Sink

File Sink by Nerd Attack! is arguably the fastest Dropbox client (this is based only in my feeling, not any scientific measurements). It may not have as many features as DropN9 or Dropian. In fact, besides downloading, uploading, viewing and deleting, there is not much more you can do with it. However, File Sink does the basic stuff smoothly and fast.
Like in Dropian, with File Sink you may select the file you want to upload into Dropbox from the Nokia N9 file system. The UI is beautiful and very easy to use. You can't do too many fancy things with it, but for the basic stuff one usually needs, it is really good. File Sink can be downloaded from Nokia Store and more info about it can be found in N9 Apps site.
